I watched game 5 of the Edmonton-Anaheim from start to finish on OLN last night, and it was worth every minute. I was a little antsy at the end, when the Ducks had a two-man advantage and an extra attacker, but thankfully they didn't score. Four more wins to the Stanley Cup. Go Oilers!

So the school year's almost over. This is Memorial Day weekend in the U.S., which means there's only four more teaching days to go, and four test days the following week.

Haven't been out much lately since spring break, when I made a day trip to Myrtle Beach. Last week I went to the Triangle area for a couple of events. I volunteered at Artsplosure 2006 in downtown Raleigh, and then I went to the Jordan Lake recreational area for a picnic hosted by VIF.

Can't wait to get back to Canada for the summer.

I am happy that the Edmonton Oilers made it to the second round. I am disappointed that the Montreal Canadiens were eliminated in six games after losing the last four in a row. But not surprised.
