Last time I blogged, I was ready to leave for Canada by car (on a vacation, of course). I had limited web access (because I'm too cheap to use those Bell Internet kiosks).

I've been in Raeford for nearly three weeks now, and eight days of school have already passed. Probably the most important thing that has happened between my return to the USA and today is the acquisition of my new notebook computer, an Apple MacBook (base model with Combo drive). On the side I also purchased a white 2 GB iPod nano and a Canon Pixma iP4200 photo printer. I visited the new Apple Store at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh to buy these items during tax-free holiday (August 4-6).

The students are pretty good this year; pretty well behaved, or maybe just because our administration was cracking down.
