Today was the second day at Riverbend. I was going to comment on my fellow student teacher, but I think I will reserve that for my personal notebook.

We did a lot of marking yesterday. Imagine all of the quizzes for eight Grade 9 science classes (~200), marked by two people. I think I spent about 5 hours marking.

I was teaching the grade 8 class today. Boy, am I in trouble! I need to plan better (time management). I spent a lot of time making sure everyone understood how to do calculations. I hope they do well on the quiz tomorrow, it's going to be a tough one.
